This specimen was lot 2030 in Jean Elsen sale 163 (Brussels, November 2025), where it sold for €800 (about US$924 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALIE, SAVOIE et SARDAIGNE, Charles Albert (1831-1849), AR 2 lire, 1835 P, Turin. Très rare. Nettoyée. (Italy, kingdom of Sardinia, Charles Albert, 1831-49, silver two lire of 1835, Turin mint. Very rare, cleaned, very Fine - Extremely Fine.)"
This type was struck at Turin 1833-36, 1841-46 and all the dates are scarce to rare. While the five lire and gold twenty lire appear frequently, the minors are very rare.
