This specimen was lot 3463 in Aureo y Calicó sale 422 (Barcelona, December 2023), where it sold for 20 € (about US$26 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted, "Samoa. 1991. 10 tala. Juegos Olímpicos - Barcelona '92. Lanzamiento de Jabalina, con certificado oficial [javelin throwing, with official certificate]. AG. Proof." This is one of several NCLT's issued for the 1992 Olympic Games. The mintage far exceeded what the country of 205,000 people could absorb and most were sold offshore.
