This specimen was lot 1560 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $1,547. The catalog description[1] noted, "SALZBURG: Leopold Anton Eleutherius von Firmian, 1727-1744, AV ducat, 1734, gorgeous lustrous surface, NGC graded MS64." This type was issued 1727-40 and depicts St. Rupert. A rare type also dated 1728 (KM 332) depicting the archbishop is also listed.
Recorded mintage: unknown but fairly common.
