Goldberg NY International sale 59, lot 2270

This specimen was lot 2270 in Goldberg's NY International sale 59 (New York, January 2023), where it did not sell. The catalog description^[1] noted, "15 Kopecks 1975. Authenticated and graded by NGC PL 65 (#6349513-029). Gem brilliant uncirculated, Prooflike strike." This type was issued 1961-91 and is very common but there is a run of scarce dates (1965-75).

Recorded mintage: unknown but not common.

Specification: 2.5 g, copper-nickel-zinc, 19.5 mm diameter.
