This specimen was lot 2703 in Steve Album Auction 52 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $72. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDISH LIVONIA: Christina, 1632-1654, AR solidus, Riga, [16]49, a lovely lustrous mint state example! PCGS graded MS63." This type was struck 1635-54 for Christina. Struck on roller dies, many of these have off-center reverses. It is a city issue ("CIVI:RIG:"), not a provincial issue ("SOLIDUS LIVONIAE"). Riga and Livonia were seized by Sweden from Poland in 1621 and retained by them until their loss to Russia in 1721.
