This specimen was lot 1251 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $190.40. The catalog description[1] noted, "RADHANPUR: Bismillah Khan, 1874-1895, AR 8 annas, Radhanpur, 1881/AH1299, minor weakness, one flan crack, attractive VF to EF, R." Radhanpur was a princely state in the west of India near Baroda and Jhalawar. It is now part of Gujarat state. Its rulers were Muslims, hence the AH dating on the coins. Eight annas was half a rupee. This type was struck the one year only.
