This specimen was lot 3758 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €190 (about US$249 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich Wilhelm III. 1797-1840. Taler 1831, A. Feine Patina, vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick William III, 1797-1840, thaler of 1831. Fine patina, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
This specimen is one of a type struck at the Berlin (shown here) and Düsseldorf mints 1828-40, during the reign of Friedrich Wilhelm III (1797-1840). A few of this date were struck without mintmark.
