This specimen was lot 75301 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $129. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. Danzig. Grosz, 1608. Sigismund III. PCGS AU-53. From the Collection of Kazmier Wysocki, former mayor of Hackensack, New Jersey." This is not an issue of Danzig but of Cracow. It was struck 1601, 1607-17, 1621-23. The photo in the SCWC is incorrect. An ort = ¼ thaler = 18 groszy.
