Philippines 1992 piso rev ASC.JPG

This piso was struck to honor Araw ng Kagitingan, a national holiday in the Philippines marking the fall of Bataan to the Japanese in 1942. It was demonetized in 1998. The SCWC incorrectly states that the coin commemorates the (nonexistent) Battle of Kagitingan.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 4 g, nickel-plated steel, 21.5 mm diameter.

Catalog reference: KM 260.
