Ten centavos of the Philippines under American rule come in three types: large size (KM 165) struck 1903-06, small size (KM 169) struck 1907-35, and the Commonwealth reverse (KM 181), struck 1937-45. Ten centavos were made at the Philadelphia mint 1903-07, at the San Francisco mint 1903-19, at the Manila mint 1920-41 and at the Denver mint 1944-45. Many dates are rare, especially in high grade. This issue, from the San Francisco mint, is a better date but not a key like the 1909-S or 1915-S.
