This specimen was lot 3448 in Aureo y Calicó sale 422 (Barcelona, December 2023), where it sold for 43 € (about US$56 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Perú. 1982. 5000 soles. Mundial de fútbol - España '82. AG. Proof." Peru issued two NCLT's for the 1982 World Cup; this one, featuring a goalie grabbing the ball, and KM 285, featuring six players chasing the ball. At the tournament, Italy defeated West Germany for the trophy.
