This specimen was lot 34443 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2024), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "PANAMA. 5 Centesimos, 1961. Mexico City Mint. PCGS MS-65. This Gem displays a soft alluring brilliance, with strong details and charming luster throughout." This type was struck 1961 only, being the first five centesimos struck since 1932. It matches the module of the United States nickel in every respect.
