Sincona sale 54, lot 1121

This specimen was lot 1121 in Sincona sale 54 (Zürich, May 2019), where it sold for 6,750 CHF (about US$8,033 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Paar, Fürstentum, Wenzel, 1792-1812. Dukat 1794, Wien. Stempel von J. N. Wirt. Sehr selten. Fast FDC. Prachtexemplar. (principality of Paar, Wenzel, 1792-1812, ducat of 1794, Vienna mint. Very rare, About uncirculated, Cabinet piece.)"

In 1794, the prince issued a half thaler, thaler, ducat (shown here), five ducats and ten ducats. It is the last issue by this family.
