This specimen was lot 6578 in Künker sale 336 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €600 (about US$785 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NÜRNBERG, STADT. Goldgulden o. J. (1469-1471). GOLD. Sehr schön. (Germany, city of Nuremberg, undated goldgulden. Very fine.)"
Friedberg notes that the city began striking these in 1429 but did not add the date until 1506. The type was terminated in 1547. The figure is St. Laurence.
