This specimen was lot 74351 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $1,140. The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 1500 Kroner, 2001. Kongsberg Mint. Harald V. NGC PROOF-67. Struck to commemorate the centennial of Nobel Peace Prize. A stunning example, this piece would serve as an excellent companion to any Nobel collection, as it channels the design of the Peace Prize." The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded by the Norwegian government; the others are awarded by Sweden.
