This specimen was lot 1964 in Classical Numismatic Group's auction of the Richard Lissner collection (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $1,028.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "NICARAGUA, Republic. 1838-pres. Specimen AR 5 Centavos. Heaton (Birmingham) mint. Dated 1880 H. In NGC encapsulation graded SP 66. Gem proof with a hint of patina. Highest graded specimen. Purchased from Paul Davis, December 1975." This type was struck in England for Nicaragua along with a ten and twenty centavos, all common tho the proofs are rare.
