This specimen was lot 20514 in Heritage sale 3010 (Boston, August 2010), where it sold for $747.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Newfoundland. George V 50 Cents 1919-C, MS63 PCGS, a choice original piece with attractive patina. Scarce date in mint state." This type was struck in Ottawa for Newfoundland in limited numbers 1911 and 1917-19 and is fairly available in grades up to extremely fine. This date is common.

Specification: 11.78 g, 0.925 fine silver, .350 troy oz ASW, 32 mm diameter.
