This specimen was lot 49059 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $456. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS EAST INDIES. Dutch East India Company. West Friesland. Gulden, 1786/64. PCGS AU-50." Silver gulden were issued 1786-91 for the East India Company by Westfriesland (shown here), Zeeland, Utrecht and Gelderland. Westfriesland stuck this in 1786-87 and 1790. The East India Company was in an advanced state of decay and was abolished in 1799 during the French dominated Batavian Republic.
