Stephen Album sale 50, lot 1592

This specimen was lot 1592 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $2,160. The catalog description[1] noted, "NEPAL: Girvan Yuddha Vikrama, 1799-1816, AR 3 mohars, SE1725, extremely rare denomination, struck in three different subtypes by order of Girvan Yuddha SE1725-1726, this variety without the flourishes outside the central legend on the obverse; mount removed, XF, RRR. Extremely rare, only two examples filed on CoinArchives, both of this subtype." The SCWC also lists KM A533 ("Flourishes outside central inscription") and KM B533 ("Moon and sun each side of inscription").
