Sincona sale 83, lot 3262

This specimen was lot 3262 in Sincona sale 83 (Zürich, May 2023), where it sold for 1,200 CHF (about US$1,606 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "NEPAL, Surendra Vikrama, 1769-1803 SE (1847-1881 AD). 1/8 Mohar o. J. (1847-1881 AD), NGC MS67. Prachtexemplar. Das durch NGC höchstbewertete Exemplar (Cabinet piece, Finest certified by NGC)." One eighth mohars were also struck in silver (KM 599).
