This specimen was lot 17796 in Heritage auction 354 (the Horwedel sale, Long Beach, CA, September 2004), where it sold for $920. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Long Beach, CA - $10 1902 Date Back Fr. 616 The NB of Long Beach Ch. # (P)6730. A considerably scarcer Long Beach bank which lasted only until 1921. Fine-Very Fine, with one rounded corner."
