This specimen was lot 1106 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $660. The catalog description[1] noted, "NAPLES & SICILY: Ferdinando II, 1830-1859, AE 10 tornesi, 1857, a wonderful lustrous example! PCGS graded MS64 RB." This type was struck 1851-59 and is scarce in nice condition. The Kingdom of the Two Sicilies was annexed to Italy in 1860 but remains poor, backward and corrupt. This coin was worth 1/24 of a piastra; one piastra was 120 grana.
