This specimen was lot 657 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $2,400. The catalog description[1] noted, "MUGHAL: Akbar I, 1556-1605, AV mohur, Ahmadabad, AH983, elongated lozenge // plain square, pelleted borders around both fields, ANACS graded EF45." This type was struck at seven mints, including Ahmadabad, which issued this mohur AH 982-987.
