This specimen was lot 2207 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $90. The catalog description[1] noted, "MUGHAL: Shah Alam II, 1759-1806, AR rupee, Gokulgarh, AH1207 year 35, VF-XF, ex David Fore Collection." This mint struck rupees in styles KM 620 (years 10-28, Rewari), KM 622 (years 29-30, Rohillas) and KM 624 (years 31-42, Sindhias), all better to scarce. It seems to have been operated not by the Mughal Emperor but by the prince of Rewari, a town southwest of Delhi, and later by the Sindhias.
