Steve Album sale 55, lot 669

This specimen was lot 669 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $2,040. The catalog description[1] noted, "MUGHAL: Aurangzeb, 1658-1707, AV mohur, Shahjahanabad (Delhi), AH1109 year 42, NGC graded AU58. Date misinterpreted as AH1105 on the slab." This type was struck at Delhi for years 1 thru 51 and is a common mint. All mohurs are expensive in this quality.
