This specimen was lot 670 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $2,040. The catalog description[1] noted, "MUGHAL: Aurangzeb, 1658-1707, AV mohur, Gulbarga (Kulbarga), AH1102 year 3x, gorgeous strike, without any weakness, NGC graded AU55." Mohurs were struck at this mint for years 29-33 and 39-44. Tho Gulbarga is not a rare mint, all mohurs are expensive in this quality. Gulbarga is today in the north part of Karnataka state. Gulbarga left the Mughal Empire when the Nizam of Hyderabad declared independence in 1724.
