Steve Album sale 55, lot 2345

This specimen was lot 2345 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "MUGHAL: Jahangir, 1605-1628, AR rupee, Ahmadabad, AH1027 year 13, glorious example, just about perfectly centered, choice XF." This rupee was struck at Ahmadabad years 3, 6, 8, 13-19 and is slightly scarce. The type was struck at 20 mints.
