This specimen was lot 38566 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $990. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Mughal Empire. Mohur, AH 1102 Year 35 (1690). Surat Mint. Aurangzeb Alamgir. NGC AU Details--Edge Damage, Bent." This mohur was struck at Surat for years 3-45, making it common for the type.
