This specimen was lot 2198 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "MUGHAL: Muhammad Shah, 1719-1748, AE paisa, Kabul, year 7, with mint epithet dar al-mulk, VF, RR." This type was struck with the regnal date (year 7) only. Kabul is now the capital of Afghanistan.
Recorded mintage: unknown but a scarce mint of a scarce type.
