Steve Album sale 51, lot 3764

This specimen was lot 3764 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "MOROCCO: al-Hasan I, 1873-1894, AE fals, AH1310-Fs, light oxidation, rare two-year type, VF, R, ex Wolfgang Schuster Collection." Milled coinage was introduced in Morocco in AH 1306 and the first issues, including this one falus, were struck at Fez in AH 1306 and 1310. Other bronze coinage included a quarter falus (KM YC1), half falus (KM YB1), two falus (KM Y2) and four falus (KM Y3), all rare.
