This specimen was lot 1913 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "MOROCCO: Moulay al-Hasan, 1873-1894, AR dirham, Paris, AH1309, a superb example with lovely toning! PCGS graded MS66." This type was struck at Paris and Berlin AH 1299, 1309-14; this is a scarce date.

Recorded mintage: 571,000.

Specification: 2.91 g, 0.835 fine silver.
