This specimen was lot 1298 in Steve Album Auction 52 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $180. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MOROCCO: Mohammed VI, 1999-, AR 250 dirhams, 2018/AH1440, 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a magnificent reflective proof state example! PCGS graded Proof 69 DCAM, ex Dr. Wolfgang Schuster Collection." While Mohammed's regime is less brutal than many others in Africa, he has enthusiastically pursued personal enrichment.
