This specimen is from a series struck 1925-35 at the Mexico City mint. This ten centavos piece replaced the ten centavos piece struck 1905-14 (KM 428) and 1919 (KM 429) which were larger. Most dates are common tho some of the overdates are scarce. It was accompanied by silver twenty and fifty centavos.
Recorded mintage: 5,270,000, a common date.
Specification: 1.66 g, 0.720 fine silver, .038 troy oz ASW.
