This specimen was lot 2801 in Sincona sale 87 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 7,500 CHF (about US$10,010 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"MALTA, Emanuel Pinto, 1741-1773. 20 Scudi 1772, Valetta. Gutes sehr schön. Feine Goldpatina. Etwas justiert und leicht berieben. (Order of Malta, Emanuel Pinto, 1741-73, twenty scudi of 1772, Valetta mint. Nice gold toning. Good very fine, lightly polished and minor adjustment marks."
This type was struck 1765, 1770 and 1772 and is rare.
