Sincona sale 20, lot 2462

This specimen was lot 2462 in Sincona sale 20 (Zürich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 1,500 (about US$1,880 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Goldgulden 1780. Sehr schön. (very fine.)" This type is listed iternmittently 1712-80 and is one of the few issues from this obscure locale.
