This specimen was lot 772 in Steve Album Auction 52 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $480. The catalog description[1] noted, "MADRAS PRESIDENCY: AR 3 fanams, ND (ca. 1687-1695), British East India Company issue, bale mark (GCE) of the company // crude Persian angriz kampani, bold VF, RR, ex Solar Collection. Struck at Madras for use in Sumatra at the British colony at Bencoolen (Bengkulu)." The SCWC also shows a one and two fanams.
