This specimen was lot 33422 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $840. The catalog description[1] noted, "Democratic Republic gold Proof 10 Ariary 1988 PR69 Ultra Cameo NGC. A deeply reflective and flawless offering of this World Wildlife Fund issue portraying an ibis." This NCLT was issued by Madagascar to honor the 25th anniversary of the World Wildlife Fund by featuring the lemur. Strangely, the silver crown which accompanied it (KM 15) has a higher face value.
