This specimen was lot 76419 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $85. The catalog description[1] noted, "LIVONIA. Swedish Occupation. Solidus, "57" (1657). Riga Mint. Karl X Gustav. PCGS MS-62." This type was struck 1654-58 for Karl Gustav. Struck on roller dies, many of these have off-center reverses. It is a provincial issue ("SOLIDUS LIVONIAE"), not a city issue ("CIVI:RIG:"). Riga and Livonia were seized by Sweden from Poland in 1621 and retained by them until their loss to Russia in 1721.
