This specimen was lot 34438 in Heritage sale 3082 (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $1,110. The catalog description[1] noted, "Liege: Robert de Berghes (1557-1564) 1/2 Rijksdaalder (Rixdaler) 1557 AU50 NGC. With the name and titles of Charles V. By all indications a very rare one-year type from the very beginning of Robert's reign, boasting an overall admirable quality for the issues of the period. We have been able to locate no other examples coming to auction." This type accompanied a very similar rixdaler (Dav-8413).
