This specimen was lot 74661 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $85. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. Kwangtung. Cash, ND (1890-08). Kwangtung Mint. Kuang-hsu (Guangxu). PCGS MS-64." Kwangtung is now known as Guangdong province and is the area around Canton (Guangzhou).

Recorded mintage: 1,059,253,000 per Numista.

Specification: 2.8 g, brass, 24 mm diameter.
