This specimen was lot 56403 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Kutch. 5 Kori, VS 1975/1915. Bhuj Mint. Khengarji III (under George V as Emperor). NGC MS-64." Kutch was sufficiently isolated from the rest of India that rupees did not circulate there. This five kori is dated both in the VS calendar and the AD year. As the VS calendar started in April, five kori dated VS 1975 are known dated 1918 ("١٩١٨") and 1919 and even 1916. The type is known from 1913-27 and is fairly common.
