Kiangnan (Jiangnan) Province is situated south of the Yangtze River. It encompasses several well-known cities, such as Nanjing and Shanghai. Mints operated at many times, with a modern facility built in 1897. Later, other mints for copper and silver coins were opened in Shanghai and other cities. The coin shown is a copper ten cash, with a cyclical date of 1905.
