This specimen was lot 2101 in Sincona sale 13 (Zürich, October 2013), where it sold for 4,000 CHF (about US$5,174 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "DEUTSCHLAND, Kempten, Stadt, Taler o. J. (1537-39). Selten. Sehr schön. Ex. Coll. Huntington, Nr. 6994." This one year type is rare and expensive. The city was annexed to Bavaria in 1803.

Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.
