This specimen was lot 45398 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "JAMAICA. Farthing (1/4 Penny), 1894. London Mint. Victoria. NGC MS-64." This type was struck 1880-1900. Common in low grade, it is scarce choice. Copper-nickel was used instead of the usual bronze in deference to the tropical climate.
Recorded mintage: 144,000 plus proofs.
Specifications: 2.8 g, copper-nickel, 20.2 mm diameter, plain edge.
