This specimen was lot 71051 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, February 2020), where it sold for $630. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Jaipur. Mohur, Year 31 (1836/7). Jagat Singh II. ANACS AU-58. Rather bold, with a few light marks and only a hint of minor wear." The mohur, a denomination introduced by the Mughals, was the same weight as the silver rupee. This type was struck years 1-30 at the Sawai Jaipur mint in the name of sultan Muhammed Akbar II along with a half mohur.
