NGC MS-64. Featuring a very paltry mintage figure on account of being struck merely for collecting demands and not for legal tender purposes, this enchanting near-Gem delivers toning composed of a rather deep and enchanting burnished iridescence along with a good deal of shimmering luster. VERY RARE and exceedingly attractive." This type was struck for the kingdom of Italy 1926-34 but only struck for circulation in 1926-30. Vittorio Emanuele III succeeded his father Umberto upon the latter's assassination in 1900, but by 1931 he was the helpless tool of the Fascists.
