This specimen was lot 1721 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $226.10. The catalog description[1] noted, "ISLE OF MAN: Elizabeth II, 1952-, AV 1/10 angel, 1988, Archangel Michael slaying dragon left, with original box of issue and COA, Proof." This type was struck 1985-88 in small numbers along with KM 194 in 1988. About 1980, the island fell under the domination of the Pobjoy Mint, which has minted and marketed dozens of NCLT commemoratives.
