This specimen was lot 76233 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRELAND. 3 Pence, ND (1547-50). Dublin Mint; mm: Harp. Edward VI, in the name of Henry VIII. PCGS VF-25. Posthumous issue. From the Richard August Collection." This is the first threepence struck for Ireland, the groat (fourpence) being struck heretofore.
