This specimen was lot 2860 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN Qajar Dynasty, Fath-'Ali Shah, 1212-1250 AH (1797-1834). Toman 1228 AH (1813), Tabriz Mint. PCGS AU Details. Überdurchschnittliche Erhaltung, Kleiner Kratzer auf Avers, Extraordinary condition. Small scratch on obverse."
This style of toman is called "type U" in the SCWC and was struck AH 1224-1225. Other mints included Astarabad, Isfahan, Kashan, Tehran and Yazd. The toman was reduced to 3.45 g in AH 1245.
