This specimen was lot 2047 in Stephen Album sale 47 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "AFSHARID: Nadir Mirza, 1796-1803, AR rupi, Mashhad, AH1216, lovely strike, VF-EF, RR." Nadir Mirza was an Afsharid prince who was permitted to rule in Mashhad by the Qajar shah, Fath Ali.
